Ahwatukee Foothills is one of the City of Phoenix's 15 designated towns, and it provides residents and tourists a relaxing lifestyle. Three golf courses are located here, as well as the annual Ahwatukee Chili Cookoff, which lasts three days and is sanctioned by the International Chili Society.

About

Located just south of the city of Phoenix, Ahwatukee is a quiet and relaxing suburban community within the Ahwatukee Foothills urban village. The serene, mountain-facing community of Ahwatukee is the home to many of Phoenix’s finest and most sought-after hiking spots that lead into the South Mountain Park and Preserve, which are known for their rugged rockscapes and giant cacti. To accompany these wonderful hiking trails, Ahwatukee hosts many incredible shopping areas, a community center, and a golfing complex.
